With great sadness, we have to inform you that Des Spruce, 3210 Serv Cdo has passed away aged 102. Des went ashore in Normandy to operate the B3 airfield, then subsequently fought in the Far East.

 

Those who met Des and listened to his story will never forget him. A Giant of a man!
