The AGM is typically when major proposals are submitted and members asked to vote on them; however, given our current situation and the time sensitive nature of our Memorials project, whilst at the same time maintaining our need to uphold statutory obligations, the Committee decided to hold an ‘electronic-EGM’ on a number of proposals relating to the project.

In total 150 votes were received. The vote was a resounding success and it was great to see so many members vote on what are some key proposals for the Association over the coming months and years. Therefore, on behalf of the Committee, a huge thank you to all who took the time and effort to contribute, it was much appreciated. The results clearly show that all four proposals received a majority ‘YES’ vote and therefore all four motions were passed. As such, all membership renewals will now be priced at £15 (£16 if paying via PayPal) per member annually with immediate effect and, along with those now wishing to take advantage of the ten year package deal, members should now please contact the Membership Secretary for further details regarding subscription payments.
